UCLA Economics graduates over 700 students each year from the Undergraduate and Graduate programs. Many of them go on to work in business or academics around the world. Through the UCLAlumni Association, you can reconnect with classmates or network with other Bruin professionals.
Visit the UCLAlumni Association web site to find out more about the alumni programs or update your alumni profile in the UCLAlumni Directory. You can also keep up to date with the department by the semi-annual UCLA Economics e-Newsletter.
Chair's Letter

Dear Alumni and Friends,
I am now in my third year as chair of the Economics Department. I am pleased to say that we have put some difficult times behind us and the future is bright, in part because of our remarkable pool of talented alumni who are passionate in their willingness to give their time and money to support research and teaching at UCLA.
One of our signature events is the selection of the Sharpe Fellows, an elite group of our business economics students who are selected by you, our alumni and friends, for internships in the private sector. The interviews this November were the fifth year of the Sharp Fellows Program, and I would like to thank those of you who participated by giving your time to help interview our students. We received 116 applications, interviewed 50, and selected 22 to be our 2012 Sharpe Fellows. What an impressive bunch they are! Read more...
Newsletters

The Undergraduate Newsletter is brought to you by our Undergraduate Roundtable. It is produced by students for students. It highlights news and information in the department most relevant to our students but of interest to all. Take a look at both!
