% This file outlines the role of the different matlab files used in simulations %
%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%

1) MCMakeSample.m: Creates the dataset employed in simulation.
Note that sample size and number of replications are specified here.

2) MainMC.m: The main file on simulations. It calls the dataset created using
MCMakeSample.m. The code performs the simulations for different values of
bootstrap penalty choices. Different bandwidth parameters are declared in 16-20.

3) f_bier_minmax.m: The criterion function used in the full sample optimization.

4) f_bier_nonlcon.m: The nonlinear constraints for the full sample optimization.

5) f_bootminmax.m: The criterion function for the bootstrap optimizations.

6) f_bootnonlcon.m: The nonlinear constraints for the bootstrap optimizations.
