Robert Ettinger is President of Flaherty & Crumrine, an investment counseling firm located in Pasadena, California. He has over twenty-five years of experience managing investment portfolios for institutional investors. He is the head trader at Flaherty & Crumrine and has primary responsibility for implementing investment strategies of the firm. Mr. Ettinger has a BA in Economics from UCLA and was honored as the department’s Commencement Speaker in 2001. He serves on the Board of Governors of the UCLA Foundation. He has an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
