My research concerns Industrial Organisation and the Theory of Contracts. One strand analyses firms' optimal selling strategies in dynamic environments: for example, when selling the rights to an oil well whose value varies over time, or when auctioning a telecoms licence to bidders who may later declare bankruptcy. More recently, I've been investigating how relational contracts affect the selection of suppliers and the movement of workers between jobs.
