Specialization in Computing

Majors in Economics, Business-Economics, and Economics/International Area Studies may earn the Specialization in Computing by completing the following courses in addition to their major requirements.

Minimum 2.0 GPA required, with a “C-” or better in all courses for the Specialization.

  • PIC 20B
  • PIC 30
  • PIC 40A
  • PIC 40B
  • PIC 60

Students petitioning a PIC 197 to count for the Specialization must submit a copy of that quarter’s PIC 197 syllabus.

Students can petition to enter the specialization at the Undergraduate Counseling office (2263 Bunche Hall) once they are officially in a Department of Economics major and have completed PIC 10B.
