Undergraduate Scholarships
The Department of Economics is pleased to announce its 2011-2012 scholarships. The Department appreciates the generous contributions from our donors. Most scholarships are in the amount of $5000 each. The donors have individual criteria for each award; however, the following information applies to all awards:
- You must be officially in a Department of Economics major or pre-major.
- You cannot be receiving any Federal or State financial aid grants for 2011-2012 to be eligible for a Department of Economics Scholarship. You can be receiving Federal loans or Work/Study for 2011-2012.
- You must be a full-time UCLA student for the full 2011-2012 academic year. Students will receive one-third of the award at the beginning of fall, winter and spring quarters as long as they maintain eligibility.
- Recipients are required to write a thank you note to formally accept the award.
- A page will be created on the Department of Economics Scholarship website to recognize the 2011-2012 recipients.
