JAY LU
UCLA Economics Professor
Jay Lu is an Associate Professor of Economics at UCLA. He is an economic theorist who specializes on topics in decision theory, behavioral economics and information economics. His work has been published in the American Economic Review, Econometrica, and the Journal of Political Economy and supported by the National Science Foundation. Professor Lu serves as an Associate Editor at Theoretical Economics, the Journal of Economic Theory and the Journal of Political Economy: Microeconomics. Prior to academia, he worked as an investment banker covering tech companies for Credit Suisse in New York.
Professor Lu holds a BA in Biology, Mathematics, and Economics from Cornell University and a PhD in Economics from Princeton University.
