News: I have a couple of new(ish) papers. Breaking Bad News considers a model in which agents learn from their neighbors and asks whether a planner would always like to transparently release bad news signals. Simple Contagion Dynamics in Tree-like Networks studies comparative statics across networks for SI processes and applies the result to a model of experimentation. I am currently the Editor of Theoretical Economics. When I took the job I wrote up a brief statement about the purpose and policies of the journal. Please send us your best papers in pure and applied theory. It's open access, run by the Econometric Society, and the average turnaround time is around 65 days. |
